SHELTER Provides Clear Span Structures for ECRL Malaysia

Shelter Tent's crew successfully installed over 10,000sqm clear span structures for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) groundbreaking ceremony. These tenting structures can be used either temporarily or semi-permanently, as a reception hall or as a logistics space. On August 9, 2017, prime minister Najib Razak presided at the groundbreaking ceremony in Pahang state, marking the beginning of construction. At this occasion SHELTER TENT provided more than 10,000 m2 of clear span tents. The largest tent was available in size of 40 meters width and 65 meters long with an eave height of 4.03 meters. The aluminum tent structures provided by SHELTER were completely covered with white PVC fabrics. They were used as catering areas, VIP corporate hospitality venues, and ceremony halls. Thanks to its clear span design, the ceremony tent was a lightweight structure which can be easily transported and be erected in only a few days or weeks. The clear span structures were also well-equipped with ivory linens, red carpets, and lighting systems, provided a large well appointed interior space for over 1,500 guests.
