SHELTER Builds A 40m Plane Hangar for Interjet

SHELTER TENT – one of the world leading clear span structures manufacturer, built a 40-meter span plane hangar tent combining storage and maintainence for Interjet, a Mexican airline! Though the aircraft hangar looked no different from the standard tent structure, it was custom-made by SHELTER according to the Interjet model to fit multi-functional requirements.

Customized Dimension

The standard hangar shelters from SHELTER TENT are available in sizes ranging from 10m to 60m. However, the 40x40m fabric aircraft hangar was custom-made according to the Interjet model and was equipped with an adjustable eave height of 4.00m + 2.40m through built-in connection technology to fit multi-functional requirements.

Detail Optimization

The hangar tent was covered with alternating black-out PVC fabric and translucent PVC fabric. It can protect the aircrafts and materials from exposure to direct sunlight as well as provide ample lighting. We also pay attention to details. The hangar shelter was equipped with electrics, and fittings such as sidewalls and doors, etc., bringing in much convenience.

Higher Security

The airplane hangar was structured by heavy-duty aluminum alloy. Through the use of the cross brace, our tent structure proved to be a safe area that allows to handle excessive wind loads (up to 120 km/h).
